苏东认为戴伟浚未能跻身23人名单有些意外，他在社媒点评写道：

最后23人名单已定。戴伟浚没能入选，稍感意外。不过教练最了解球员，能根据自己战术选人，一定有其道理。如果都遂众愿，也许不是好事。希望战略藐视、战术重视。一定要有自信，相信自己。战术要做到极致，不放过每个细节。我还是固执地认为，两战新加坡，尽取6分。
